SIA alloy
ead-free solder alloy composed of tin and bismuth with the addition of components to improve the overall properties of the alloy.
This alloy allows for the retention of the properties and parameters used in production with standard lead-based alloys like Sn63Pb37 or Sn60Pb40.
It provides a solution to current challenges by offering a lead-free alloy with controlled production costs, thermal and mechanical properties comparable to SAC-type solutions, and cost reductions in operation (reduced energy bills and limited slag formation).
This alloy can be used in all electronic production processes: wave soldering, selective wave, surface-mount soldering (SMT), etc.
This alloy complies with the RoHS 2011/65/EU directive on eliminating lead from solder alloys.
